The discount on House Sitters UK membership is 15%. Both together is what makes this work properly and keeps this site running. Here is everything you need.
A Quick Note on How This Works
The 15% discount is real and applied through the code. The commission is how we keep this site running and continue writing free guides. We only recommend platforms we have genuinely researched and believe in.
The reason both the link and the code matter: the link tells House Sitters UK where you came from. The code applies the discount. If you use the code without clicking our link first, you may still get the discount but we earn nothing from it, which makes the free guides on this site harder to sustain.
That is the full picture. Click the link, enter the code, get 15% off, and support a site built on genuine house sitting experience.
What You Pay With the Discount
| Membership | Full price | With HSG15 (15% off) |
|---|---|---|
| Sitter, 12 months | £29 | ~£25 |
| Homeowner, lifetime | £15 | Check at checkout |
No booking fee on either plan. No automatic subscription renewal. You pay for 12 months and renew manually when you are ready.
How to Apply the Code
Click our House Sitters UK link first. That step matters. Then select your sitter membership, enter HSG15 in the discount code field at checkout, and the 15% comes off automatically.
If the code does not apply, contact House Sitters UK support directly or send us a message on Instagram and we will confirm the current status.
Why House Sitters UK
House Sitters UK is the most affordable entry point into the UK house sitting market. At approximately £25 per year with our code and no booking fee, it is the lowest-cost platform available for UK-focused sitters.
The UK has the most developed house sitting culture in the world and TrustedHouseSitters dominates the market with around 3,800 UK listings. House Sitters UK sits alongside THS as a complement rather than a replacement, carrying around 628 listings from a different subset of homeowners who prefer a UK-only platform. The homeowner lifetime membership at £15 means homeowners pay once and list every time they travel indefinitely, which keeps the listing base consistent.
The honest reason to join House Sitters UK alongside THS rather than instead of it: the two platforms have low listing overlap. Running both genuinely expands your access to the full UK market rather than showing you the same sits twice. At £25 per year with our code, the combined cost of both platforms is still less than a single night in most UK hotels.
Caro and I have done sits across Belgium and Luxembourg, and we drove through the UK on our way between sits in Europe. The UK house sitting market is one I find genuinely interesting because it produced the culture that most of the global platforms are modelled on. The depth of the UK market, and the quality of homeowners who use it, reflects that history. Our house sitting UK guide and the house sitting London guide cover the full picture of what the UK market looks like for international sitters.
An optional ID verification badge is available for a one-time fee and is worth doing if you plan to use the platform regularly. A verified badge signals credibility and can improve your application success rate, particularly in competitive markets like London. The same optional badge is available across the regional platforms in this network.
Our full House Sitters UK review covers the complete platform comparison including how it stacks up against TrustedHouseSitters for UK sits.
Is This Code Still Active?
Yes. HSG15 is active with no published expiry date. We verify it periodically and will update this page if the status changes.
The same code HSG15 works across the regional platforms in this network. Aussie House Sitters uses HSG15 for 15% off Australian sits. Kiwi House Sitters, House Sitters America, and House Sitters Canada all use HSG15 as well. For international travel beyond the UK, TrustedHouseSitters covers 140+ countries and our link gives 25% off automatically at checkout. Our TrustedHouseSitters discount page covers that in full.
Have a question about the code or the platform? Drop it in the comments below or send us a message on Instagram. We read every one.
Caro and I have completed 20 house sits across 12 countries, driven 19,000km in Australia and 24,000km in our 1998 VW T4, and saved over $26,500 in accommodation costs over three years of house sitting. If you have questions about House Sitters UK or UK house sitting generally, send us a message on Instagram, we read every DM.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the House Sitters UK discount code?
HSG15. Enter it at checkout after clicking our House Sitters UK link for 15% off the sitter membership. Both the link and the code are needed together. The link tells House Sitters UK where you came from. The code applies the discount.
Does the discount apply to homeowner membership?
The HSG15 code is primarily for sitter membership. Check at checkout whether it applies to the homeowner lifetime plan. The homeowner membership is £15 once regardless, which is already exceptionally affordable.
Can I use HSG15 on renewal?
The code is intended for new memberships. Check at checkout whether it applies to your renewal. If you have any issues, contact House Sitters UK support directly.
Why do I need to click the link AND use the code?
The link tells House Sitters UK that you came from this site. The code applies the 15% discount. Both together activate the discount and generate a small commission for this site, which is how we fund free guides and articles. If you use the code without clicking the link first, you may still get the discount but we earn nothing from it.
Should I use House Sitters UK instead of TrustedHouseSitters for UK sits?
Neither instead of nor instead of is the right framing. THS dominates the UK with around 3,800 listings and should be your primary UK platform. House Sitters UK adds around 628 listings from a different subset of homeowners who prefer a UK-only platform. The listing overlap between them is low, which means running both genuinely expands your access to the full UK market. At £25 per year with our code, House Sitters UK is an easy addition to an existing THS membership.
Is the ID verification badge worth it?
Yes. A verified badge on your profile signals credibility to homeowners and can improve your application success rate, particularly on competitive London listings. The same optional badge is available on the other regional platforms in this network at a similar cost.
Does House Sitters UK have a free trial?
No. Membership starts at £29 per year for sitters. HSG15 is the best available discount on that price.
Is House Sitters UK worth it?
Yes, particularly as a complement to TrustedHouseSitters. No booking fee, the most affordable annual sitter membership in the UK market, and a £15 lifetime homeowner membership that keeps listings consistent. Our full review covers the complete comparison against TrustedHouseSitters.
